De Rovertsche Heide is een uitgestrekt natuurgebied tussen Hilvarenbeek, Goirle en het Belgische Poppel. Je wandelt of fietst hier door een afwisselend landschap van heide, bossen, vennen en zandpaden. In de zomer kleurt de heide prachtig paars en hoor je de leeuweriken zingen boven de velden.Onderweg kom je langs het beekdal van de Rovertsche Leij, waar het water rustig door het groen slingert, en over het idyllische landgoed Gorp en Roovert, met eeuwenoude bomen en oude boerderijen. Dankzij de ligging op de grens met België heeft het gebied een rijke geschiedenis van smokkelaars en grensverhalen . Een avontuurlijk tintje tijdens je tocht!
